Do you want to be a part of the Milton High School Marching Band halftime show?

The Milton High School Marching Band invites all Kindergarten through 8th grade students to join the band for an exciting halftime performance during Homecoming! Learn to spin a flag with the Milton Colorguard, cheer on the Eagles from the stands, and perform on the field at halftime. No experience needed.

Arrival: 6:00 PM

• Check-in at the Milton High School front entrance, near the flagpole.
• Participants and parents each receive a wristband used for identification at check-out.
• Participants receive their Spin with the Eagles t-shirt to wear Friday night.
• Attire: comfortable clothes and athletic shoes.
• Bring a water bottle! Water breaks throughout practice.

Departure: 7:30 PM

• Check-out at the main entrance near the flagpole.
• Parents are welcome to stay and watch practice in the cafeteria, or pick up at 7:30.

Arrival: 4:45 PM

• Check-in at the Milton High School flagpole. Participants and parents each receive a wristband.
• Attire: Spin with the Eagles t-shirt, black leggings or comfortable pants, athletic shoes.
• Participants eat dinner with the MHS Colorguard and practice their routine. Pizza, fruit, and cookies will be served. Please email guardvp@miltonband.org with food allergy questions or concerns.
• 6:45-7:00 PM: Parade to the stadium with the full Marching Band. Parents can watch from the front lawn or along the carpool side of MHS.

Game Time!

• First half: participants sit with the Colorguard in the stands and enjoy the cheers, music, and dancing.
• For everyone's safety, participants MUST remain with the Colorguard at all times until officially checked out after the halftime performance. An adult chaperone will escort any child who needs the restroom. Thank you for helping us keep everyone accounted for!
• Parents, please sit in the Marching Band/Colorguard parent section to help us cheer! It's just in front of the band, all the way to the right when you enter the stadium facing the press box.
• Halftime: Participants take the field to perform! Please remain in the stands until the show is over.

Departure

• After halftime, meet your child's chaperones in the end zone closest to the front gate and concession stands. Each student is released to the parent or guardian with the matching wristband.
